A shocking new audio of singer Michael Jackson was released during a trial on Tuesday.

The audio was played to jurors this week and documents Jackson highly under the influence with Murray heard nearby. The recording comes from Murray’s iPhone. It was recorded May 10, 2009, just a little over a month before the King of Pop’s death.
In the video, Jackson is heard slurring his words and is barely recognizable.
He is heard saying, “We have to be phenomenal. When people leave this show, when people leave my show, I want them to say, ‘I’ve never seen nothing like this in my life. Go. Go. I’ve never seen nothing like this. Go. It’s amazing. He’s the greatest enterainer in the world.’ I’m taking that money, a million children, children’s hospital, the biggest in the world, Michael Jackson’s Children’s Hospital…”
With the recording, the prosecution aims to reveal Murray’s knowledge of Michael’s state on May 10, 2009 and as one prosecutor said, “his knowledge of what he is doing to Michael Jackson.” Just over a month later, on June 25, Michael Jackson died. According to CNN, the coroner ruled that his death was the result of “acute propofol intoxication” in combination with sedatives Murray was providing Jackson with propofol, a powerful anesthetic used during surgery, in which his defense lawyer says that Murray was trying to wean him off of. His lawyer added that Jackson caused his own death by taking a handful of sedatives and mixing it with propofol without Murray’s knowledge.

According to CBS, the Jackson family including La Toya, Jermaine, Tito, Randy, Janet and Rebbie along with his parents were sitting in front of the courtroom and were clearly shocked and stunned by the recording.
