In the early morning hours of Sunday March 27, in Staten Island, a single shot was fired that took the life of 32 year old Cory McGriff also known to the Tri State area Hip Hop scene as "DJ Megatron"
Megatron was an extremely motivated and hard working DJ, Recording Artist and Actor from Staten Island, NY. He was employed at New York's Hot 97 FM (WQHT) and B.E.T. and quite often DJ'd at many different venues in the NY/NJ area. In addition to DJing he was also an aspiring actor, having played roles in such films as "State Property 2." He was very well known for his laid back, fun and easy going dimeanor and will be greatly missed by many in New York Hip Hop Community.
